In this guide, we let you know how to set up an online store using WooCommerce with WooVina Theme.
Before we start with Step 1, you need to make sure you have a WordPress website running on a hosted server. If you do not have it, you can get one domain name and web hosting server from SiteGround.

Considering you have a WordPress site running to promote your business and products. You can set up WooCommerce for your business using the following steps:
Step 1: Install WooCommerce Plugin
- Log into
- Go to Plugins > Add New
- Search for WooCommerce
- Install and activate WooCommerce
- Set up the WooCommerce by filling up your Store information > Payment method > Shipping Charges > MailChimp Installation (Optional but recommended) > Jetpack Installation (Optional) > Ready!

Step 2: Setup WooVina Theme
To install WooVina Theme, you need to visit WooVina website and download the suitable Child Theme for your online store. If you are opening a fashion related online store, you can try the Mimosa Child Theme.

To download the WooVina Child Theme, you need to register first. Once the registration is done, download the theme files from your Dashboard.
For the preparation, you need to download the following files
- WooVina Theme – woovina.zip
- Mimosa Theme – mimosa.zip
After you have downloaded the files, go to WordPress Dashboard > Appearance > Themes > Add New > Upload Theme > Upload both download files woovina.zip and mimosa.zip.
After that, go to the Themes and activate the Mimosa Themes. Once the theme has been activated, try to refresh your Dashboard, you can see the Theme Panel option appears in the sidebar now.
Step 3: Import WooVina Demo
Before we start to import the WooVina demo files, we need to increase the WordPress system’s maximum file upload size limit, memory limit, and maximum execution time and maximum input file.
To do this you need to add the following codes into your .htaccess file located on your server. You can access this file using the File Manager from your server’s cpanel.

Save the changes and go back to your WordPress Dashboard.
Go to Theme Panel > Install Demos > Choose the Demo you wants.
For example, we chose Demo 04, and once it was clicked, a pop-up message appeared and requested to install the plugins required. In this case, please install and activate all the plugins required.
After the plugins have been installed, you can proceed to import the demo. An Import checklist will appear, just check all options and wait for them to be imported to the system. The importing process will take around 1-2 minutes.
After the demo import, you can edit the front site using the Elementor page builder. You need to install this Elementor plugin if you do not have it earlier.
You can further customize the WooCommerce site by looking into the WooCommerce Settings, especially for the payment and shipping part. Furthermore, you can customize other sections through the Appearance > Customization.
Once you are satisfied with the result, go to the Products, delete the imported demo products and start adding yours. Finally, Test your site and make sure everything is ready before you officially launch your online store!
